The view here is spectacular and features gorgeous Cove Mountain in the distance. The park is a 5-star luxury RV resort complete with a swimming pool, bathhouse, laundry, clubhouse with a conference room, Wi-Fi, and cable TV. Mature trees and mountain peak views surround the campground itself.

A river runs along the campground's back end, and visitors can enjoy fishing along the river or take advantage of the on-site put-in and take-out for private boaters and fishermen. The campground also includes laundry facilities, a general store, and a 4 ft. swimming pool.
Pigeon River also has free Wi-Fi, horseshoes, a sand volleyball court, and easy access to whitewater rafting, ziplines, and horseback riding. The campground sits at the intersection of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the Cherokee National Forest, and the Pisgah National Forest.
